Fiscal 2022 Seven-Bill Appropriations Package -- En Bloc Amendments

DeLauro, D-Conn., en bloc amendments no. 4 to the bill, including 41 amendments that would, among other provisions, prohibit the use of funds provided by the bill to implement or enforce any rule rescinding a December 2020 Labor Department rule relating to the equal opportunity clause religious exemption; decrease by $122 million funding for higher education programs; add language to rescind the unobligated balance of reserve amounts for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program; prohibit the use of funds provided by the bill to fund the Civilian Climate Corps; reallocate $75 million within funding for Energy Department defense nuclear nonproliferation activities, intended to fund the uranium reserve program; strike from the bill a section that would prohibit the use of funds provided by the bill to prevent federal employees from using official time or space in federal buildings for union activities, teleworking for approved positions, or teleworking when an employee's health or safety is in question; strike from the bill a section that would provide $300 million for an electric vehicles fund for the General Services Administration to procure zero-emission and electric passenger motor vehicles and associated charging infrastructure; prohibit the use of funds provided by the Interior-Environment title of the bill to implement or enforce a January 2021 executive order outlining policies to prioritize climate considerations in U.S. foreign policy and national security; and decrease by $86 million funding for climate change and resiliency projects on military installations.
