Fiscal 2023 Omnibus Appropriations -- Strike Earmark Spending

Johnson, R-Wis., amendment no. 6555 to the Schumer, D-N.Y., for Leahy, D-Vt., amendment no. 6552 to the bill that would strike all earmark spending provided in the bill and reduce corresponding appropriations and allocation amounts. It would require the Office of Management and Budget to submit a report to Congress indicating the final amount appropriated for each appropriation account in the bill after the reductions.
