Passage of the bill that would modify who is covered as a full-time employee under the employer mandate in the 2010 health care law by replacing the 30 hour-a-week threshold with 40 hours per week. It also would change how companies calculate how many of their employees can be counted under the employer mandate's 50-employee threshold. The bill would clarify that its budgetary effects should not be entered on either pay-as-you-go scorecard maintained pursuant to current law.
