Surface Transportation Reauthorization -- Private Sector Financing Denials

Mulvaney, R-S.C., amendment that would require recipients of Export-Import Bank financing of more than $10 million to have been denied financing at least twice by the private sector. It also would institute penalties for inaccurate claims made by financing recipients about the availability of competing foreign export financing or private sector financing.
