Trade Enforcement and Internet Tax Ban -- Conference Report

Description:

Adoption of the conference report on the bill that would establish the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in statute, allow the agency to authorize the implementation of an automated system to process imports and exports and create a Trade Remedy Law Enforcement Division to prevent and investigate trade remedy evasion within the CBP. The measure would also make permanent a ban on state and local taxation of Internet access.
