Fiscal 2017 Energy-Water Appropriations 'Shell' -- Wind Energy Research

Merkley, D-Ore., amendment no. 3812 to the Alexander, R-Tenn., substitute amendment no. 3801 that would provide $95 million for wind energy from within Energy Department energy efficiency and renewable energy funding, a $15 million increase above the level in a related committee report. The substitute amendment would provide $37.5 billion in fiscal 2017 for the Energy Department, the Army Corps of Engineers and the Interior Department's Bureau of Reclamation.
