Fiscal 2016 Budget Resolution -- Access to Pre-School

Murray, D-Wash., amendment no. 951 that would adjust the resolution to increase recommended levels of federal revenue, new budget authority and outlays by roughly $30 billion. The changes are intended to reflect future legislation that would establish and fund a new federal-state partnership to expand access to high-quality pre-school programs for children from low- and moderate-income families, with the cost offset by revenue from closing tax breaks.
